"I changed a vital and nothing happened on the Display."

You haven't clicked Apply New Vitals. That's intentional β€” numeric vitals stage in the New column until you Apply. Hit Apply.

"I typed the Session ID and it says no session found."

Session IDs are case-insensitive and never contain the characters O or 0. Double-check the ID character by character on the source device. If you copied it from somewhere, try typing it manually.

"The Display Monitor shows 'DEVICE OFF'."

The battery hit 0%. Open the Controller β†’ Alarms & Battery β†’ Battery tab. Set the percentage to any value above 0%, or toggle Charge mode on. The display restores immediately once the battery is above 0%.

"Vitals show dashes (---) instead of numbers."

An INOP toggle is on. Open Alarms & Battery β†’ INOP tab and toggle off the relevant sensor (Lead off, SpO2 sensor disconnect, NIBP cuff failure, or EtCO2 sensor disconnect).

"Alarm sounds are too loud / distracting."

Open Alarms & Battery β†’ Audio tab. Toggle Mute all alarm audio for the session. Visual alarms still show. If you only need to silence the current alarm (not all future ones), press the Silence button on the Display Monitor instead.

"I can't see the 'Control Vital Signs' tab in my header."

You joined as a Viewer. Ask an existing Controller or the Original Owner to promote you via the Users table on the Session Management page.

"I closed my tab β€” is my session gone?"

No. Sessions are server-side and persist even when no one is connected. Return to TrainingMonitor.app and the Welcome Back modal will offer to continue your previous session.

"Nothing is showing on the Display Monitor at all β€” it's blank."

The Display Monitor toggle in Display Controls may be off. On the Controller, open Display Controls and ensure Display Monitor is toggled ON.

"The trend is running but I can't change the trend time."

The time selector is locked while a trend is actively running. Wait for it to finish, or click End Trend to stop it, then adjust the time before the next Apply.

"I want to reset BP history without restarting the whole session."

Use the Clear BP Hx button on the Controller near the BP vital control. This clears all stored readings and resets the BP display to ---/--- without touching any other vitals or session state.

"Is TMA really free with no hidden costs?"

"How do I sign up for early access?"

Click the Join Early Access link in the site banner or footer. This routes to the TMA intake form for instructors who want to test new features before public release and provide product feedback.
